Today I had the honour of meeting Daniel Thomas, the new Illinois State Director of Tourism. In a collaboration between Enjoy Illinois, Unforgettable Forgottonia, and our Convention and Visitor's Bureau (CVB) See Quincy, I was able to spend a few hours with other tourism enthusiasts in the region. We have some engaging discussions on what tourism means, how to make improvements in our respective areas, and what's next from the perspective of the State of Illinios Department of Tourism. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have the time with peers and leaders in tourism to discuss these important issues.
